Messmer's second phase when he merges with the serpent and the music shifts to that ominous choir... I genuinely sat back in my chair.

Bayle the Dread is the best dragon fight FromSoft has ever made. The Igon questline leading into it is perfect game design.

The Scadutree blessing system was genius. Stops the open world from trivialising the bosses without gating progress artificially.

I bounced off base Elden Ring twice but this DLC finally clicked everything for me. Beat it in 40 hours and feel like I understand the game now.
