I went in thinking nothing could top the base game and I was completely wrong. The Shadow Realm is massive and the density of secrets rivals entire AAA games. Messmer might be my favourite FromSoft boss ever — his lore, his moveset, and that second phase transition are perfection. If you dropped off Elden Ring, this DLC is the reason to come back.

I know people hate the hyperbole but watch the tape. His shot-blocking on the perimeter, his handle for a 7'4" player, the shooting range, the passing vision — there is no player in NBA history who had this combination of tools at his age. Not Duncan. Not Shaq. Not Kareem. Wemby is genuinely unprecedented and we should just enjoy watching him develop.
